Frequently Asked Questions

What areas do you cover?

We travel anywhere in the Rio Grande Valley – McAllen, Edinburg, Mission, Pharr, Weslaco, Harlingen – and can arrange trips to Laredo or surrounding rural towns for an added mileage fee.

How much does a notarization cost?

Texas caps the notarial act itself at $10 per signature. Travel is a separate fee between us and the signer and agree to in advance - it is listed separately on the receipt.

What forms of ID are acceptable?

Any current, government-issued photo ID with a signature (e.g., Texas driver’s license, U.S. passport, permanent-resident card, state ID). The name on the ID must match the name on the document.

Can you notarize documents in Spanish?

Yes. Texas notaries may perform notarizations in Spanish as long as the notary and signer can communicate directly without an interpreter.

Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Absolutely. Mobile service is by appointment, and we routinely book after-hours, weekends, and even same-day rush jobs when the schedule allows.

What documents do you handle most often?

Real-estate closings, powers of attorney, medical directives, vehicle titles, school forms, adoption paperwork, I-9 verifications, and business contracts. If it requires a Texas notarial certificate, we can help.

Can you notarize online instead of in person?

Not at at this time. We are in the works offering a 100 % virtual signing in the future, which requires we hold a separate Texas Remote Online Notary commission and can notarize via secure audio-video session for an additional state-allowed fee.

What should I do before you arrive?

Have all pages of the document ready, completely filled out except the signature and date line, and make sure everyone signing has valid ID. Never sign in advance.

What happens to my information after the notarization?

Texas law requires us to log each notarization in a secure bound or electronic record book that includes basic details (date, type of document, name, ID type, fee). We do not keep your actual documents.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, credit/debit card, Zelle, or business check. All fees are disclosed up front; you’ll receive an itemized receipt showing the notarial fee and the travel fee separately, as required by Texas rules.
